corn dogs for the picking

my friend dan loves corn dogs. back in march, beginning with national corn dog day, commemorated with an economy size box from costco, and continuing throughout much of the summer, he would come to the office and eat a couple corn dogs for breakfast, maybe another for lunch. which is perhaps more impressive to witness than it is to read about. i had meant to post this song in homage during that surreal run but forgot until it came up on shuffle yesterday. here's to good eating:

dangerdoom - korn dogz

dangerdoom is a collaboration between danger mouse (of the grey album and gnarls barkley acclaim) and mf doom. this particular song comes off an ep the duo did for the adult swim block on cartoon network entitled occult hymn. they also have, from 2005, a full length collaboration entitled the mouse & the mask.

also: while you're over at the adult swim site checking in on the source of dangerdoom's affection, be sure to carve out fifteen or so minutes to watch the latest excellent edition of lucy, daughter of the devil. a fine & funny show.
