hey gang. call this catching up, part deux: here are a handful of good songs that came into the a.g. mailbox over the course of the past month or so. most of these artists are either unsigned or still in the early stages of their careers so if you're picking up what they're putting down why not try to catch them live or pick up a copy of their disks?

chapter 9 - small apocalypse song
"small apocalypse song" is off of the ep piece of cake by french folk pop quartet chapter 9. you can listen to and download the rest of the ep over at the internet archive. chapter 9 are also part of sellaband, a very cool business that allows fans to fund, incrementally, studio sessions for unsigned acts.
king of prussia - misadventures of the campaign kids
athens, georgia-based king of prussia's catchy and clever and thoroughly enjoyable debut lp, save the scene, will be released by kindercore records in january.
plajia - beating the charms
plajia are from montreal and beautiful explosions, their debut album, off of which comes the lovely, ambient folk ballad "beating the charms," has just been released. check here to find out where you can pick up a copy of your own.
wisely - through any window
l.a. singer and songwriter wisely's third album, wisely, also hits shelves in january. you can watch the video for "through any window," starring jenna fischer, here.
