speaking of dan, he recently turned a.g. onto the radio dept.'s lovely 2003 lp lesser matters, an impressive suite of fuzzy, melodic, lo-fi songs - sporting enough energy and verve to counterbalance the pop and introspection - with which i have become, of late, fairly enamored.
