the rumble strips

the rumble strips are a rambling, horn- & keys-buffeted rock and soul outfit from london. their first long-player, girls and weather - named for the two subjects of discourse on which the band feels comfortable opining* - came out last september and features a handful of goodtimes tracks, including "girls and boys in love" ("move to the city, lose all your heart/she's not too pretty, you ain't too smart"), a song that, like the highway feature after which the band's named, will set your head nodding.

the band's myspace has a bunch of videos, including one for "girls and boys," and, of course, upcoming tour dates.

Thank you for posting this! I loved this tune on the new Sprint commercial and have been dying to find it, thankfully I found it and did not die! Yay for not dying! Thanks again!
