today's song comes from the delightfully titled swift feet for troubling times, the debut album from toronto natives ohbijou.

all i have by way of explanation of the name comes from their website - "laying in bed, in a fit of unbridled happiness, hitting me like an unexpected sneeze, I looked at you and said....ohbijou" - and, well, doesn't exactly clear things up any. but leaving aside the province of their name, the music, as you'll hear in a minute, is an accomplished blend of folk and rock and a little of that eastern canadian province layering; you know the kind, the strings, the organ, that slightly fuller, more dense sound.
