said the gramophone announced the second runners-up in their wonderful video contest on monday. some cool and very worthy vids, including this stop-motion interpretation of and accompaniment for the song "decatur" by sufjan stevens, done by ainslee wallis:

the first runners-up in the wonderful video contest will be revealed this coming monday and the winners the monday after that. be sure you check in at s.t.g. each week to see & hear all the chosen ones; if the videos still to come are presumably better, more clever or beautiful or poignant, etc., than ainslee's then we are all of us in for a treat.
