hallie pritts, a singer & songwriter from pittsburgh, records with help of a cast of friends as boca chica. their debut album transform into beasts, released last year, has a warm, organic, intimate feel, like a dusky back porch gathering. there are two tracks from the album on offer below, including the title song - "we all follow strange whims / transform into beasts now and again" - which features swell banjo accompaniment.
