today, right now, and for the foreseeable future, this song by the illinois band headlights and its dreamy atmosphere and harmonies simply pleases me no end. who new sleeping trouble could sound so good?

"cherry tulips" comes off the headlights' second full-length album, some racing, some stoppping, and you can listen to more songs from the album on the band's myspace. also check here for tour dates, as there's a (east-coast heavy) trip currently in progress. finally, here's the video for "cherry tulips," which reinforces the dream-state and features some lovely, modest effects.
