"sack lunch" is one of two free downloads on offer from tremors, the debut ep of local san francisco indie quartet my first earthquake. anyone's guess barely felt our first earthquake, which fact may or may not have been a product of the pub in which we were sitting at the time or the libations offered therein. those of you with similar tales can and very probably should experience my first earthquake for yourselves tomorrow night, 1 june, at the band's cd release party at the makeout room (8p; 7$). and since the band, in a thematically fitting turn of phrase, describes their sound as "exud[ing] the dance rock funk that makes the kids shake," well, we're not sure how you could pass something like that up. more info here.
