new single from built for the sea

when we spoke with built for the sea recently, band leader lia rose mentioned they had just finished up work on a new five-song ep, mise en scene. the album will be self-released and available beginning 18 september and we're happy to have the terrific first single (along with the cover art, at right) available here for download. get it while it's hot:

the ep release will be celebrated with a show at slim's (18 september), but you can also see built for the sea play this weekend, 30 august, at the bottom of the hill.
